Twilight Faerie

In an ancient meadow,
by the twilight's glow,
You might see a fairy,
Just where the bluebell's grow.
And you may try and catch one,
If you take your time. Hold it gently on a twig,
Until the bluebell's chime.
Alas you cannot keep one,
Though you wish you could,
For when you hear the bluebell's chime,
There'll be nothing where they stood.

Breath of Spring

The breath of Spring Lifting on wings that feel The pulse of Life Hope that will bring A sense of 'real' After the shadowy, wintry days Now gone....
The dawn's first whispering Of gentle birdsong 'wakening To splendid day, The heart takes wing And soars majestically On freedom's way....
